ABOUT WESSEX SQUARE
Welcome to Wessex Square
Nestled in the heart of South Charlotte, Wessex Square is a close-knit neighborhood known for friendly neighbors, beautiful tree-lined streets, and a true sense of community. Conveniently located near the Arboretum, Colony Place, and some of Charlotte’s top schools, Wessex Square offers the perfect balance of location, comfort, and connection.
More than just a neighborhood, Wessex Square is a place where people know one another, gather together, and take pride in caring for the community around them. From seasonal events and neighborhood gatherings to welcoming new residents, we believe the best part of Wessex Square is the people who call it home.
Our neighborhood association — “The Square” — is a completely voluntary, community-focused organization dedicated to maintaining shared spaces, improving communication, and helping neighbors connect.
Whether you’re new to Charlotte or simply looking for a place to feel at home, we’re glad you’re here. Welcome to Wessex Square.
